As an enrolled student of
the University of Wolverhampton, you are automatically (ish) generated an email
address with a @wlv.ac.uk suffix. All emails sent via WOLF or from the UoW
email address directory are sent to this email address.
How many of you regularly
use or check this? Now compare this to how often you check your ‘hotmail,
‘Yahoo’ or ‘Gmail’ accounts?????
So here’s an idea…….why not
setup a ‘forward’ email address within WOLF so your UoW emails are redirected to
your ‘personal’ email accounts.
You can then get email reminders sent to you
mobile phone and never miss a message!!
Here is how…
- Log into WOLF
- Under the Control Panel area there is a Communication Icon
- Once selected, Add your second email below your existing UoW email.
- Before using an address you must verify it to WOLF. If the padlock icon appears in the verify column then the contact address has yet to be verified.
- Clicking the padlock icon will send a verification message to the address. If a checkbox and resend icon appears in the verify column then a message has been sent and the address is awaiting verification.
- Now check your personal email inbox.
- Locate the WOLF Messaging System email and use the link provided within the message to verify and register the account.
Job done!! ADD.
