Estia Students visit the TCT event and Land Rover


On Wednesday 26th September as part of their Rapid Manufacturing Applications Module, the Estia students visited both the Time Compression Technologies (TCT) exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham and the Land Rover manufacturing plant at Solihull.

At the TCT event, students witnessed the latest 3D laser scanning equipment, Rapid Prototyping process equipment and 3D modeling software.

Some students were busier then others researching alternative software!!  

At the Land Rover plant students witnessed the numerous assembly lines producing the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4 and the yet to be released, new long wheel based Range Rover Sport with a starting price of £70k !!!!
