On Wednesday 26th September as part of
their Rapid Manufacturing Applications Module, the Estia students visited both
the Time Compression Technologies (TCT) exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham and the
Land Rover manufacturing plant at Solihull.
At the TCT event, students witnessed the latest 3D laser scanning
equipment, Rapid Prototyping process equipment and 3D modeling software.

At the Land Rover plant students witnessed the numerous assembly lines producing the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4 and the yet to be released, new long wheel based Range Rover Sport with a starting price of £70k !!!!
