Model Making Skills On Show!!

Taking advantage of the Easter break in the semester, some of the final year students have been hard at work creating their scaled site plan models and working models. Others have been creating their 3D rendered images in preparation for their display boards.
Michael skilfully and patiently assembling his working model.
Some of Ricardo’s early engraved CAD work.
Top Tips……..don’t leave it to late to render your images or cut and build your models……ask these students, they’ll let you know the fun they’ve been having!!

After creating a preproduction prototype model, Ousman is layering his CAD files in readiness to use the laser cutter.
Using an alternative CAD package and modelling tools, Bobby is utilising a Wacom tablet and Drawing Express interface to produce his .dxf files.
Permission was granted by the students to show these images. No airbrushing was required…….thanks Bobby!!
